Payment and Cancellation
To secure your booking for space, a prepayment of one day’s pitch fee is required – this is currently £ 35 but may be liable to change. This prepayment is non-refundable.
The balance of monies owed for the booking will be payable in full on arrival preferably by Visa or MasterCard, but otherwise by cash. Pitches will be allocated on an ad hoc manner on arrival. Special requests for pitch positions and hard standing will be noted and every attempt will be made to satisfy requirements – however we cannot guarantee compliance with special instructions.
In the unlikely event that Springbank Leisure Caravan & Motorhome Park becomes unavailable due to reasons beyond our control, we will endeavour to find alternative suitable accommodation.
We reserve the right to decline acceptance of a booking or refuse admittance to Springbank Leisure Caravan & Motorhome Park for any person or group where, in our opinion, the facilities are not suitable for the hirer or any member of the hirer’s party, without liability on either side.
Location – access, security & safety
The caravan & motorhome park is in a pleasant valley location close to town centre amenities. It is accessed via a 600m tarmac drive directly alongside the entrance to Church Stretton’s main school.
The drive has two single track sections each approx. 250m long, before the bends where there is room to pass. Please always look ahead to ensure the way is clear before proceeding!
At times during the day, background traffic noise from the A49 road and the occasional passing train may be heard.
CCTV is in operation around the park. This is for the security of the park, visitors and staff.
Guests Responsibilities
Please arrive on site after 1pm and arrange to vacate your pitch by 11am on the leaving day.
To keep children always supervised when on site & in the Service Building and pets under control. Avoid any behaviour which may disturb your neighbours & keep noise levels to a minimum. Please use electricity & water sparingly to help keep down future pitch price rises.
Use the Service Building conscientiously, leaving it clean and tidy for others. We have a very large insulated hot water tank which is heated by the gas boiler twice daily between 0800hrs & 1000hrs in the morning and 1800hrs & 2000hrs in the evening. Washing up area and wheelchair users bathroom & WC are located at the front of the Ladies entrance
Waste disposal arrangements are provided with signs for “Waste water – Grey” and “Foul water – Black”. Bins for bagged waste are at the front of the Service Building along with a recycling bin for glass bottles, tins and plastic containers.
Insurance Liability
No liability is accepted in respect of loss or damage to any visitor’s equipment, vehicles or possessions whilst on site. Should any damage occur to Springbank Leisure Caravan & Motorhome Park’s facilities, it should be reported immediately.
Drugs
Anyone found in possession of or using illegal drugs will be required to leave the premises immediately. Disruptive behaviour caused by excess alcohol will be dealt with similarly.
Campfires and Barbecues
Candles, bonfires, fireworks and any outdoor cooking with wood or charcoal are not permitted on site due to fire risks. Outdoor gas barbecues may be used if placed onto a fireproof base board to protect the grass.
Lost Property
We cannot accept responsibility for any property left behind at the end of your stay. Whilst we will make every reasonable effort to return lost property this will be done and the postage charged.
